Bobbie Nell Pierce, 88, of Plainview, Texas passed away at Westridge Manor on Sunday, March 21, 2021. A private memorial service will be held at Floydada Cemetery under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home.

Bobbie Nell Cross was born September 29, 1932 in Daughtery, Texas to Osceola (Oren) and Mary Ella (Milburn) Cross.  She grew up and attended school in Floyd County.  After moving to Plainview, she worked as a dental assistant.  Bobbie and Vernon Pierce were married on July 23, 1982.  They were members and attended College Heights Baptist Church in Plainview.  Their life together took them to Granbury and back to Plainview where they enjoyed the company of their many McDonald's friends, attending Bob Wills' Day in Turkey, Texas, and Family Reunions in Floyd County.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernon Pierce and brother Marion Cross.

She is survived by brother Larry Jo Cross of Alabama; Sons: Benny Randall Campbell (Randy) and wife Nell of Edmonson, Scott Dewayne Campbell of Plainview, Robert Clay Campbell and wife Tanya of Arkansas; Step children: Darrell Pierce and Sharon Pierce; Grandchildren: Randall and Tami Campbell of Kress, Richard and Jennifer Campbell of Arizona, Denise and Zant Woods of Tulia;  Great grandchildren: Kole Campbell, Megan Woods, Will Woods and Zeb Woods.

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Westridge Manor and to Area Community Hospice for assistance during her final days.
