Billy Wayne Potter, 79 of Plainview, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, December 19, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Billy was born on January 20, 1943, in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Odwell T. and Lula Merle (Bourland) Potter. Billy lived in Plainview all his life and was a self-employed painter. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling in his motorhome.

Billy is survived by two daughters, Robin, and Sheily Potter; two sisters, Ruth Moon, and Betty Lee; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Odwell and Lula Potter.
