Barbara Ann Carson was born on August 9, 1955, to Bobby Dean and Mildred Inez Shaddix in Plainview, Texas. On June 7, 1991, she married her cherished husband, Danny Carson of Hart, Texas. They have been happily married for 34 years.

She peacefully passed away on March 30, 2025, surrounded by family and cherished memories.

A devoted mother and wife, Barbara leaves behind her husband, Danny Carson and her four children: Christi Perkins married to Jason Perkins of Plainview, Texas, Jennifer Herrera of Hobbs, New Mexico, Tiffany Bradford of Hart, Texas, and Kelbi Hernandez, married to Ryan Hernandez of Abernathy, Texas. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to her thirteen grandchildren: Jordan, Tyler, Hayli, Channing, Mia, Dylan, Camryn, Braydon, Morgan, Elijah, Tristan, Greyson, and Kasen.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Mildred Shaddix, and her sisters, Debbie Owens, Glenda Favila, and Brenda Shaddix.

Barbara was a graduate of Plainview High School and later worked at United Supermarkets. Outside of her professional life and commitment to her family, she enjoyed one of her greatest passions, spending time with her family and grandchildren and shopping.

Barbara will be remembered for her kind spirit, compassionate heart, and deep love for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Cremation services are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.
