Baldemar Gonzalez, 84, of Lubbock, passed away on February 10, 2015 in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m., Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home.
Baldemar Gonzalez was born in Ganado, Texas to the late Amador and Dominga (Castillo) Gonzales. He married Elizabeth (Diaz) Gonzalez on April 23, 1952 in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Mr. Gonzalez spent his life supporting his family by working as a farmer. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, landscaping, planting flowers, the outdoors, but most of all he had a very passionate love for his grandchildren, and his family. He was a member of Emmanuel Worship Center in Lubbock, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Angelita Barretero. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elizabeth Gonzalez, two sons; Ramiro Gonzales, Carlos Gonzalez, one daughter; Susie Gonzales, three grandchildren; Lisa Gonzales McGee, Brian Gonzalez, Danielle Gonzales, three great-grandchildren; Makaiah J'nae McGee, Malakai Joseph McGee, Ava Renay Ivey, one brother Santiago Gonzalez, and three sisters; Elva Saenz, Aurora Vargas, and Estella Hernandez.
