Arturo Vaquera, 69 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020.  A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 2 o' clock in the afternoon on Thursday, August 27, 2020 t Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Anton celebrating.  Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park.  A Rosary will be recited at 6 o' clock in the evening on Wednesday at Lemons Memorial Chapel.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Manuel de Jesus Vaquera and Maria Trenidad Vitela; one brother: Benjamin Vaquera; one daughter in law: Lisa Vaquera and one grandson: Jorge Angel Torres.

Arturo is survived by: his wife: Esperanza of the home; one son: Arturo Manuel Vaquera of Plainview; one daughter: Veronica Vaquera Torres and husband Jorge of  Wichita, KS; four brothers: Silvestre, Edmundo, Manuel and Javier Vaquera; two sisters: Hortencia Martinez and Francisca Masias and nine grandchildren.
