Arsenia Lopez, 80, of Lubbock, went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 19, 2014. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 in Lemons Memorial Chapel, with Oscar Chavez officiating. Interment will follow the service in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral service arrangements are under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Lopez was born on December 14,1933 in Sinton, TX to the late Pedro and Modesta (Aguilar) Villarreal. She married Joe Lopez in December of 1947 in Florence, AZ. He preceded her in death on November 15, 2013. She spent her life taking care of her family as a homemaker. Mrs. Lopez loved to quilt, she was a very benevolent person, with a very generous heart. Besides her love for Christ, her family was her most important passion in life. She is preceded in death by her parents; Pedro and Modesta, husband, Joe, one son, Daniel, and three brothers. Those left to cherish her memory are three sons; Larry Lopez and wife Patsy, Adam Lopez and wife Rita, Sammy Lopez, four daughters; Estella Sanchez, Eunice Solomon and husband John, Diana Lopez, Odilia Wilson, one sister Beatrice Thomashide, and one daughter-in-law Jennifer Lopez.
