Funeral Mass for Armeldo Gonzales, 65, of Plainview, Texas will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview with Father Raymundo Manriquez officiating and under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Rosary services will be at 6:00 pm Tuesday, January 20 at Lemons Funeral Home.

Armeldo Gonzales passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at his home in Plainview. He was born on November 19, 1949 in Brownfield, Texas to Simplico and Martina Gonzales. Armeldo married Yolanda Rodriquez on October 9, 1968 in Plainview. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports and spent time every day working in his yard to keep his lawn maintained and looking nice. Armeldo is survived by his wife: Yolanda Gonzales of Plainview, a son: Armeldo Gonzales Jr. of Lawton, OK, three daughters: Lisa Vaquera of Plainview, Michelle Gonzales of Long Island, NY, and Denise Gonzales of Plainview, two sisters: Francis Jalamo and Simona Flores, 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents Simplico and Martina, three brothers: Roy Tony, and Benito Gonzales, and three sisters: Elvida, Rosa, and Janie Gonzales.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Vaquera, Jeremiah Gonzales, Brandon Gonzales, Juansitio Cribas, Alex Garcia, and Gabrial Garcia.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Garcia, Chino Funez, Sabastian Gonzales, Zackary Gonzales, Matthew Zaquera, Savah Vaquera, Jenny Vaquera, and Deandra Gonzales.
