Ann Esther Castro-Baker, 53 of Plainview, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Plainview with Pastor Sergio Bernal officiating. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Ann was born on July 25,1969, in Alamosa, Colorado to Jesus Gutierrez Castro and Linda Cortez Castro. She went to Colorado schools and graduated high school in Monte Vista in the eighties. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, going to China Dragon, binge watching Netflix, having makeovers, and playing games with her "adopted" daughter Samantha Sanchez. When she was younger, she enjoyed being in nature and fishing with her father.

Ann is survived by her mother, Linda Castro, and her son, Jesus Hanson both of Plainview, TX, her daughter Tia Hanson and Kevin Wilson of Boston, KY, her sister, Jo Ann Blair of Belton, TX and four grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jesus G. Castro, and baby sister, Connie Lou Castro.
