Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Arsenio Redulla as Celebrant. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Anita was born on July 1, 1948 in Plainview to Felix and Maria (Soto) Flores. She married Roberto Garza in October, 1964 in Plainview and they enjoyed over 49 years together until his passing in November, 2013.

Her children remember Anita as a kind, loving mother who adored her children and grandchildren. She was always ready to give a helping hand to those whom she loved. The love of her life was her husband Roberto. She loved him so much and missed him terribly. Her children and grandchildren will always feel her loss but they find comfort in the fact that Anita and Roberto are together again.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roberto Garza, Sr.; three grandchildren, Adam Salinas, Donald Ray Garza and Monique Garza; one brother, Felipe Flores and two sisters, Felipa Flores and Virginia Flores.

Anita is survived by two sons, Robert Garza, Jr. and wife Angel Urrutia of Lubbock and Arnulfo "Shorty" Garza; two daughters, Linda Garza and Esmeralda Garza, all of Plainview; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers, David Flores, Thomas Flores, Marshall Flores and Raymond Flores; four sisters, Carol Solis, Anna Vasquez, Rachel Rivera and Isabel Vasquez as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
