Angie Galvan "Mimi", 53 passed away on October 20, 2020 in Lubbock Texas. Angie was born on December 20, 1966 in Olton, Tx to Bernardino & Maria Reyes. She attended Plainview schools and was a dedicated member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church her whole life.
On June 9, 1984, Angie married the love of her life Henry Galvan. Henry and Angie had 3 children, John Henry Galvan of Plainview, Mikel J Galvan and wife Ashley of Plainview and Kristen Angela Galvan of Plainview. Mimi was blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren, Mia Galvan, Peyton Galvan, Michael Galvan, Tyler Galvan and John Anthony Galvan (JAG) that she adored and they were her whole world as she was theirs. Mimi was the 2nd oldest of 5 children, she loved her brothers: Ricky Reyes Sr. and Roland Reyes both of Plainview; little sister: Rebecca Reyes of Plainview. She always made sure to take care of her siblings even as adults. Mimi had 18 nieces and 13 nephews that she adored. She will be tremendously missed by so many people.
Her time on earth was short but she made sure she made the most of it. She loved to bake and decorate cookies with her grandkids and anyone that visited Mimi's house at Christmas knew how she loved to decorate all 13 of her Christmas Trees! Her faith in God and love for her family is what made Mimi so unique she made every birthday and holiday special for all her loved ones. In 2013 she traveled to Rio De Janeiro Brazil on a mission trip to help others as that was her passion to help anyone and everyone she could. She served on the Parish Council at Sacred Heart Church and served as a Lecture and Communion Minister for many years. She was a very faithful servant of God.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Pedro and Senaida Montemayor and Bernardino Sr and Tomasa Reyes, her Father in law, Mike T. Galvan and her brother, Ben Reyes.
