Plainview - Andres Gonzales, age 90, passed away on February 18, 2022, at his home in Plainview surrounded by his family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Andres was born on August 3, 1931, in Wilson County, Texas. He married Juana Barajas on February 11, 1977, in Plainview. He enjoyed going out to eat, especially at Jalisco's. He would also spend his time driving all over town in his blue dodge pickup and buying lottery tickets. Rain or shine, he wanted to be "out in the streets", or window shopping downtown. When he was actually home and not cruising the streets, he loved watching old western movies.

Andres is survived by five stepsons, Jose Manuel and Diane Ramos and Reimundo and Belinda Ramos both of Corpus Christi, Gabriel and Susan Ramos of Mexico, Miguel Ramos and Augustine and Teresa Ramos both of Amarilllo; two stepdaughters, Maria and Rudy Sanchez of Fort Worth and Estella and Adolfo Gomez of Keller, TX; one daughter, Andrea and Chuck DeLeon of Plainview; one sister, Maria Espinoza of Mexico; two grandchildren, Ryan Andrew and Rylie Adison DeLeon; 43 step-grandchildren and numerous step-great and great-great-grandchildren.
