Alice Virginia McDonough  Hoggins,  91, of Emory, Texas, passed away on February 22, 2017.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Plainview Cemetery.

Alice was born  November 13, 1925 in Petersburg, Texas to John Franklin and Minnie Lee (Saunders) McDonough.  She graduated from Petersburg High School in 1944 and attended Lippert Business College.  She worked as a Nurses Aide for Irving Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 daughters, Nita Sims, Ginger Shriver and Debbie Womack as well as one sister, Juanita Rasco.

Those left to cherish memory are one daughter, Genna Hoggins; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Burkert; three brothers, John McDonough, Jr., Clifton McDonough, Earle McDonough and one son-in-law, Phillip Womack.
