Alice LaNell "Nell" Hill, 85 of Plainview, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Saturday, September 14, 2024. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, September 20, 2024, at 2:00pm in Plainview Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral services are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.
"Nell" was born on January 10, 1939, to Seth and Fern Hatfield in Kent County, Texas.
Nell was a sassy red headed hottie with a beautiful soul, devoted Wife, Mother, Sister, "La-La," Aunt and Friend to many. Nell was a sales executive for Hershey Candy Company, the manager at Dairy Queen in Wichita Falls, and a rehabilitation specialist who worked with special needs adults in Sweetwater, Texas.
Nell leaves behind two sisters, Shirley (Hatfield) Bell of Plainview, Texas, and Glenda(Hatfield)Ponder and her husband, Vincent Ponder of Wichita Falls, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Connie Pollard of Wichita Falls, Texas; her grandchildren, Misty Stricker and husband Jason, and their sons, Chase and Garrett of Devine Texas, Heather Pollard and husband Josh, of McKinney, Texas, Britany Pollard and son Brady Rhodan of Wichita Falls, Texas, Nancy Pollard and Husband Joe Griggs, and son Allen Cole of Henrietta, Texas, Buck Cook and wife Stacy and daughter, Kaylee of Bandera, Texas, Heather Yanta and husband Chris and three sons, Jacob, Ethan and Bryce of Rockport, Texas, Lance Rogers and wife Shari and their children, Jarod and Jessica of Nebraska; and numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephew that are too numerous to mention.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne Hill of Sweetwater, Texas; her two sons, Mike and Jim Pollard, both of Wichita Falls, Texas; her two stepdaughters, Carla Jean Hill of San Antonio, Texas, and Patricia Lynn Linnartz of Devine, Texas; her parents, Seth and Fern Hatfield; her two sisters, Erlene (Hatfield) Kuykendall of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and Beverly (Hatfield) McLamb of Lubbock, Texas; and one brother, Eddie Hatfield of Lubbock, Texas.
