Alfredo Nunez, 70 of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in El Paso, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, January 24, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. A visitation for Mr. Nunez will be held at 2:00pm until 8:00pm, with a Holy Rosary being recited at 6:00pm, Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Alfredo was born on December 1, 1954, in Chihuahua, Mexico to Eulalio Nunez and Leonor Martinez.

Alfredo was a truck driver. He enjoyed spending time doing mechanical work, going on picnics, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eulalio and Leonor Nunez, and one brother, Ruben Martinez.

Alfredo is survived by his four sons, Joe Anthony Nunez, Alfred Nunez, Jr. and wife Esmeralda, and Carlos Nunez, all of Lockney, and Alex Nunez, of Newaygo, Michigan; his daughter, Yuri Nunez and husband James Newhouse of Newaygo, Michigan; one brother, Eulalio Nunez, Jr. of Lubbock; three sisters, Margarita Castilleja, Maria Del Pilar Nunez, of Plainview, and Gracie Nunez of Crosbyton; twenty-nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
