Plainview-Alejandro Perez Sr., 76, of Plainview passed away on September 15, 2014 in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday September 19, 2014 in Lemons Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Hale Center Cemetery under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Perez was born on March 31, 1938 in Lockhart, TX. to the late Fred and Maria (Selestino) Perez. He married Dee Frazier on January 1, 1987 in Lubbock, TX. Mr. Perez worked as a construction foreman for most of his life. He was very avid golfer, and was a member of the Pan American Golf Association, Texas National Guard, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mr. Perez also loved gardening, raising calves with his wife Dee, but most of all he was a great father, and grandfather; he was loved by everyone. He is preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Dee, one son; Alejandro Perez Jr., one daughter; Michelle Martinez Burleson, and one brother; Alvino Perez.
