Alberto Zambrano, 91, of Plainview passed away on December 12, 2014. A Celebration of Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2914 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Father Raymundo Manriqez officiating. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16.2014 in Lemons Memorial Chapel. Mr. Zambrano was born on October 10, 1923 to the late Jesus and and Maria (Guerra) Zambrano. He married Juanita Espinoza on August 28, 1948 in Sinton, Texas. Alberto worked many years as farmer, while working at the Jimmy Dean Pig Parlor, where he had the privilege to meet and associate with the late Jimmy Dean, and Ed Ames. When Mr. Zambrano had a chance he loved fishing, gardening, listening to the radio, and watching his Dallas Cowboys. Most of all family was what was important to Alberto, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Juan and Maria Zambrano, three children, and three brothers. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Juanita Zambrano, four sons; Juan Alberto Zambrano, Guadalupe Zambrano, Enrico Zambrano, Eliseo Zambrano, two daughters; Celestina Espinosa, and Juanita Zambrano Gomez.
