Funeral Mass is scheduled for 12 o' clock in the afternoon on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at St. John's Catholic Church in Hart with Father Raj, as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Hart Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o' clock in the evening on Friday at the church.

Agustin was born on August 28, 1923 to Eugenio and Alejandra (Balderas) Perez in San Benito, Texas. He spent many years in Hart, and was a hard working farmer for most of his life. Agustin married the love of his life, Ana Maria "Ama" Sanchez, and they were happily married for many years. She preceded him in death on December 20, 2008. In the little time he wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Although Agustin loved all his family, he especially enjoyed the company of his great grandchildren. They made him smile every time he saw them. Agustin honorably served his country in the United States Army and was a WWII Veteran. He was a member of St John's Catholic Church and will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; three brothers and four sisters.

Agustin has left behind to cherish his memory two sons: Agustin Perez Jr. and wife Aurelia of Hart and Harvey Perez and wife Belinda of Claude; seven daughters: Maria Villarreal, Rosa Sarabia and husband Mike, Esther Gonzales and husband Rudy, and Ramona Neudorf all of Hart, Lulu Perez and Monica Zapata and husband Jenaro all of Plainview, and Leticia Montoya and husband Leo of Portales, NM; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.
