Obituary
Adeline Martin Barnes, 91, of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Prairie House Living Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Open visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013, at the funeral home.
Adeline Martin Barnes was born on July 6, 1921, to Charlie and Anne Waller in Eola, Texas. She and Victor J. Martin were married in 1940. Victor preceded her in death in December of 1982. Adeline married Gary Barnes of Plainview in 1989.
Adeline is survived by two children, Victor 'Tex' Martin, and Dolly Anna Jobe; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
