Adan M. Martinez, 77 of Plainview, Texas passed away on September 24, 2023. A Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 6:00pm at Lemons Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Adan was born on May 22, 1946, in Mertzon, Texas to Dolores and Angelita Martinez. He married Virgina Herrera on January 27, 1973, in Plainview, Texas. He worked at Cargill Beef Packing plant for over 30 years.

Adan had a passion for watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys! He was also a fan of the Texas Rangers. He enjoyed fishing, working on his home, cookouts, and just cruise. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, his son, and his son-in-laws.

Adan is survived by his wife, Virginia Martinez; his son, Adan Martinez, Jr.; his three daughters: Angie Raissez and husband Michael, Amy Reyes and husband Ray, and Audrey Pulido and husband Robert, all of Plainview, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; three sisters: Victoria Martinez, Ceci Rincon, and Candelaria Rogers, all of Plainview, Texas.

Adan is preceded in death by his parents, Dolores and Angelita Martinez, and one sister, Marcelina Delgado.
