A Funeral Mass for Mr. Vasquez will be at 2:00pm, Friday, February 14, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview. Cremation services will follow under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Adam was born on November 20, 1980, in Hale Center, Texas, to Antonio Vasquez and Dolores Hernandez Vasquez. He attended and graduated from Plainview High School in 2000 and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Adam married Veronica Hernandez April 20, 2002, in Plainview, Texas. During their twenty-two years of marriage, they were blessed with three beautiful daughters, Gabrielle, Gessalyn, and Genesis. Adam loved his daughters more than anything, especially taking them to their father-daughter dances.

Adam was a die-hard Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was creative, hardworking, loved fixing things around the house, and he was very passionate about keeping his yard clean and green. He would talk to everyone, everywhere. He would go out of his way to make sure he said hello and ask about your family. He was kind, loving, funny, and especially loved telling his dad jokes, even if he was the only one laughing. He will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him.

Adam was always giving and willing to help others. His final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation, touching the lives of many through this selfless decision. This showed Adam's true spirit.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roman and Irene Vasquez, his maternal grandparents, Alejandro, and Teresa Hernandez.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three daughters: Gabrielle Vasquez, Gessalyn Vasquez, and Genesis Vasquez, and their mother, Veronica Hernandez, all of Plainview;  his parents, Antonio and Dolores Vasquez of Pharr, Texas; his two brothers, Tony Vasquez, and Andrew Vasquez, of Plainview; one sister, Rebecca "Becky" Cedillo and husband Rolando, of Pharr, Texas; one nephew, Rolando Cedillo, and six nieces: Raquel, Rubie, and Roxanna Cedillo, Saria, Genevive, and Jaida Vasquez; his former father and mother in-laws, Guadalupe and Elodia Hernandez, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
