Ada Ortiz, 57, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM, Friday, October 8, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Ada was born on October 8, 1963, in San Angelo, Texas to Robert and Georgia (Gomez) Arredondo. She enjoyed watching movies, collecting Wizard of Oz figurines, reading, and could talk on the phone for hours.

Ada is survived by her husband, Carlos Ortiz of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; one sister, Dominga Aguirre of Plainview; three nieces, Brenda Tijerina, Marisa Garcia and Sasha Aguirre and four nephews, Robert Perales, David Arredondo, Paul Aguirre, Jr. and Robert Arredondo III.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Arredondo and two sisters, Maricela and Cira Arredondo.
